The Founder.

Hi! I’m Dacie. I have a Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis (Microbiology) from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, a Precision Nutrition L1 Coach, and I have a specialization in Functional Nutrition and Metabolism. Aside from my role as a fitness coach and business owner, I am also a full time Microbiologist so I understand how stressful and busy your life can get.

I know what it’s like to be in your shoes. Nine years ago I was working long hours, I was 50 + lbs overweight, I was having significant health issues, and I didn’t feel confident. After seeing a photo of myself, I decided enough was enough and I made the decision to take back my health. I started by joining a gym and working with a trainer and then did a complete overhaul of my nutrition by working with a nutrition coach. Not only was I able to lose the weight and improve my health, but I gained confidence and the strong “toned” body I had always wanted. Ultimately, that decision to change my health completely changed the course of my life.

Your Guide.

In the midst of my own weight loss journey, I learned how much wrong information women are told regarding exercise and nutrition. Realizing that I was in a rare position due to my scientific background, I decided to become a personal trainer and nutrition coach to help women like yourself reclaim your life in a healthy and sustainable manner.

Everything I teach my clients is based on science as well as my own experiences, which makes me the perfect coach for you. As you have moved through your life you have selected mentors that traveled the path ahead of you, why wouldn’t you do the same with your health?

Bridge Fitness and Nutrition was founded to help women like you learn how lose weight and build a strong body while ditching weight loss fads and gimmicks.

While I serve all women who want to improve their health, I specialize in helping women who are experiencing daily brain fog, inflammation, gut issues, blood sugar issues, fatigue, loss of sex drive, high stress, and more or have conditions like hypothyroidism, PCOS, autoimmune diseases, and Type 2 Diabetes.  

In order to best serve my clients, I attend annual fitness and nutrition seminars and conferences and obtain continuing education credits to stay up to date on the latest developments in health and fitness. I also regularly attend career development trainings to provide my clients with strategies they can use in their own careers.
