Hi, I’m Dacie, a microbiologist and strength-focused functional nutrition coach. I hold a Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis from the West Virginia University School of Medicine and bring six years of post-doctoral experience specifically in gut microbiology and immunology.
My coaching background includes NASM certifications in Personal Training, Nutrition Coaching, and Women’s Fitness, along with a certification as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, and specialized training in Functional Nutrition and Metabolism.
As a full-time scientist, coach, and business owner, I understand how demanding life can be and how deeply stress can affect your health and quality of life.

I know what it’s like to feel stuck in a body and life that doesn’t feel like your own. Over 11 years ago, I was working long hours, I was 50 pounds overweight, dealing with health issues, and lacking confidence.
A photo on my 32nd birthday was the wake-up call I needed. I committed to strength training, improving my nutrition, and began rebuilding my health from the inside out.
That decision changed everything. I not only lost the weight, but I also built confidence, improved my health, and created a stronger, more resilient body. Since then, I’ve also navigated gut issues, hormone issues, and the effects of stress, which is why I understand how deeply these challenges can affect your life.

During my own weight loss journey, I quickly realized how much misinformation exists in the health and fitness space. That experience, combined with my background in biomedical sciences, showed me I was uniquely positioned to help others improve their health in a more thoughtful, sustainable way.
I coach at the intersection of physiology, systems biology, real-world behavior, and long-term results. Rather than chasing trends, I focus on understanding why your body is responding the way it is and how to restore function with clarity and precision.
